Mark Chirikjian

With over 30 years of experience leading in the business space of the greater DC area, Mark Chriijkian brings his expertise as the CEO of Amelia Technologies. A Georgetown university graduate, he co-founded Edvotek in 1990, the world’s largest biotechnology education company specializing in transferring cutting edge science into the classroom.
Brian Ell
Senior Scientist
As the Director of Research at Edvotek, Inc, Dr. Brian Ell, PhD. brings extensive experience in educational product development and commercialization in the biotechnology industry to the table. Since 2014, he is responsible for the creation and dissemination of biotechnology education products for secondary and post-secondary students worldwide. Brian completed both his doctorate and post-doc at Princeton University, conducting intensive research on the molecular regulation of metastatic breast cancer cells. Brian provides imperative consultation on various research projects at Amelia technologies, using this powerful combination of academic and industrial background company specializing in transferring cutting edge science into the classroom.
Peter Sykora
CSO
Dr. Peter Sykora brings a long history in biology and technology development. Dr. Sykora received his PhD from Deakin University in Melbourne, Australia in molecular biology. His research is focused on the development and optimization of new molecular biology technology. He is also developing new ways to approach genome engineering and creating reporter cell lines for use in industry and academia
Jia Fu
Scientist
Jia has more than 9 years of experience as a protein manufacturing specialist, with specialization in industrial scale protein purification, high throughput lyophilization technologies and protein technology development. She obtained her BS in Biotechnology from Northeast Agriculture University in Harbin, China and her MS in Biotechnology from Georgetown University. company specializing in transferring cutting edge science into the classroom.
Lucia Dussan
COO
Lucia has more than 10 years of experience in administering biotechnology laboratories. She obtained her BS on Industrial Microbiology from Javeriana University in Bogota, Colombia and her MS on Biotechnology from Georgetown University.
Elijah Finn
Research Scientist
Elijah is our newest member to the Amelia Technologies team. He is a recent graduate of Georgetown University in Washington DC, where he obtained his MS in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. He has also obtained a BS in Biology, as well as a BS in Biochemistry from Marymount University in Arlington, VA. His main interests include the science behind skincare and cosmetics and how they interact with the skin on both molecular and cellular levels.
